What may be posted on the Magnio careers board
Every position is checked against these 9 rules before it goes live, and can be taken down after publication if it turns out to break one. A refusal always names the rule and the line that broke it — we do not edit an employer's advert for them.
The role must be real, open, and yours to fill
One genuine vacancy at your own business, open at the time of posting.
Post only positions you are actually hiring for right now, at the business on your Magnio account. Talent pooling ("send us your CV for future openings"), agency listings for an employer that has not asked you to advertise, and posts kept live to collect applications after the role is filled are all refused.
Never ask an applicant for money
No placement fees, training bonds, deposits, uniform charges or "processing" payments.
An applicant must never be asked to pay anything to apply, to be interviewed, to be trained, or to start. This covers placement and processing fees, refundable and non-refundable deposits, uniforms, equipment, medical exams charged to the applicant, and any requirement to buy stock or a starter kit. Under Philippine law, charging a worker a recruitment fee is illegal, and a post that does it is removed immediately rather than returned for edits.
No discriminatory requirements
No age, sex, civil status, religion, pregnancy, disability or appearance filters.
Do not state or imply a preferred age, sex, civil status, religion, ethnicity, health status, pregnancy status, disability, sexual orientation or physical appearance. "22-28 years old", "female only", "single, no children" and "must be presentable" are all refused. RA 10911 prohibits age limits in job advertisements outright. State the actual requirement instead — a licence, a language, a lifting capacity, a shift pattern.
Lawful, safe, employed work only
No MLM or recruitment pyramids, no "unlimited earnings", no unlicensed or hazardous work.
The position must be lawful work with a real employer. Refused outright: network marketing and any role whose earnings depend on recruiting other people, investment or crypto "trading assistant" schemes, money-mule and package-reshipping roles, work requiring a licence the employer does not hold, and anything that puts the worker in unlawful or undisclosed danger. Commission-only sales roles are allowed, but must say so plainly.
Be honest about pay
Publish a real range, or say it is negotiable. Never advertise a figure you will not pay.
You may publish a range, a single figure, or nothing at all — but whatever you publish has to be what the role actually pays, before any recruitment-stage renegotiation. Ranges must be genuine (not "₱15,000 – ₱150,000"), must respect the applicable regional minimum wage for the work described, and must say what they cover: monthly, daily, hourly, or per project. Advertising an allowance, a commission ceiling or a package total as if it were basic pay is refused.
Post under your own name, with a working way to apply
Your real business name, and an application link or address that works.
The posting is published under your organization's name on Magnio and that name has to be the employer, or the agency openly recruiting on their behalf. Confidential listings, initials, and "a leading company in Makati" are refused. Every posting needs at least one application route — a careers URL or an email address — and it must accept applications on the day it is published.
Do not collect personal data in the posting itself
No IDs, bank details, photos or fees requested in the description.
The posting is a public page, so it must not ask an applicant to send government IDs, bank or e-wallet details, a full birth date, an NBI clearance, or a photograph as a condition of applying. Ask for what you need later in the process, on your own channel, under your own privacy notice. Do not paste an applicant's details into a posting either.
Location, schedule and work setup must be accurate
One role per post, with the true worksite, arrangement and employment type.
Post one role per listing — a single post advertising six unrelated positions is refused, as are duplicates of a role you have already published. The location must be the actual worksite, and remote, hybrid and on-site must be stated truthfully. Say if the role is probationary, project-based, seasonal or through an agency; a post that describes contract work as regular employment is refused.
Close it when it is filled
Take the posting down once you stop hiring for it.
Close a posting from your console as soon as the role is filled or withdrawn. Postings expire automatically after the period below, but a listing that is still collecting applications for a position that no longer exists wastes the applicant's time and is grounds for removal.
How review works
- Nothing is published unread. A posting sits in a review queue until a person at Magnio has checked it against the rules above.
- A refusal cites a rule and says what to change. Edit the posting in your console and send it back; it returns to the queue.
- An edit after publication returns to review. Approved text cannot be swapped for something else after the fact.
- Listings expire after 45 days. Close a role as soon as it is filled — a board advertising positions that no longer exist wastes applicants' time.
Report a posting
If a listing here asked you for money, for your bank details or for an ID before hiring you — or if the job turned out not to be the one advertised — tell us. Include the position and the employer. A posting that breaks these rules comes down whether or not it has already been approved.
Magnio publishes these listings; it does not employ anyone advertised here, does not receive applications, and is not a recruitment agency.
